However, the iPad has a pretty color display & one time you get accustomed to it, reading is not difficult. I like the backlit display at night when reading in bed \.\. I can read to my hearts content & not bother my sleeping spouse. VERSATILITY - Apps, movies, music, pics, effective net connectivity, color display, very intuitive GUI all merge to make iPad the hands down winner in this section.
