In my opinion, the item description nails it. it's terribly transportable when folded up; is simply tossed during a drawer or bag. It held my iPad perfectly whereas in its case and is durable enough to work. It did not slide round the counter tops and is adjustable for various viewing angles. It just about suits all of my needs. However, my one minor grievance is that when the iPad is sitting vertically within the mount and therefore the charging cable is plugged in, the cable interferes with the soundness of the iPad. In alternative words, if the mount held the iPad perhaps simply a half-inch higher off the surface, the plug would not be a tangle. Horizontally is in fact no drawback. I personally do not realize this to be a difficulty as I seldom have it plugged in when i am using it anyway.
